What's going on?
For those of you who are not acquainted with "The CARTEL Band", we are an Old School FUNK band out of
Stockton, California. Sometimes known as TCB, which stands for The Cartel Band. We've been together for five
years now and plan to make a contribution in keeping Stockton on the map. When it comes to good performing
bands in northern California, this band is in the top tier.
Well, the CARTEL is officially nominated for a "MAMA Award" this year. Your votes are the determining factor for
us. That's right, your vote will make the CARTEL win or lose. Modesto Area Music Association will be collecting
votes between now and Oct 16th of 2008, so cast your vote for The CARTEL Band as the best Blues / Jazz
Band in the valley. You may cast your vote at http://www.modestoview.com/mama/awards/default.aspx. After you
have voted, ask your friends and family to vote as well. That's the way it works, the more the merrier. Please take
